Another successful year of InnoTrans is over and we were there
From 24 to 27 September we participated in the largest railway fair in Europe - InnoTrans in Berlin.
The size and importance of the fair is proven by this year's figures: 2,940 exhibitors from 59 countries. A record number of visitors - 170,000 from 133 countries. 42 exhibition halls, 133 vehicles on the outdoor area and on the tracks, 11 buses. 226 world premieres were shown and more than 1,200 guests from all over the world attended the opening ceremony.
At the stand in Hall 23, we presented a comprehensive range of ZKL bearings for railway applications and presented our solutions for a more reliable, safer and more sustainable mobility of tomorrow.
We showcased axle roller bearings of the WJ/WJP type for freight wagons with a journal diameter of 120 mm and 130 mm. These modern railway bearings ensure high safety and reliability, better energy efficiency, and lower maintenance costs for applications in Y25 type bogies and others. Also featured were railway roller and tapered units, as well as double-row cylindrical bearings for locomotive axles.
The main highlight was a pair of axle roller bearings for rolling stock manufacturers, which were recently approved by the Ukrainian Railways commission. This marks the completion of a project spanning over two and a half years for the development and approval of this bearing type. For Ukrainian customers, our product offers numerous benefits. The bearings are designed to meet both Ukrainian and European legislative and technical requirements. Full compatibility with ZKL bearings thus ensures seamless integration into current operations and aids in the future integration of Ukrainian partners within the European community.
This year's fair was successful not only from a business point of view, but also as a great opportunity to further strengthen personal relationships.
