Visit to Argentina
The ZKL delegation embarked on an important visit to Argentina in early November to strengthen relationships with key partners. The meetings generated positive momentum and hopeful prospects for 2025, reaffirming that supporting partners during challenging times yields results.
Led by the CEO of the ZKL Group, Ing. Jiří Prášil, along with Ing. Radovan Brila, Commercial Director for Latin America, and regional branch directors Mr. Pablo Méndez and Ms. Silvina Tomassoni, the ZKL delegation met with prominent market representatives and key brand partners in Argentina.
The ZKL representatives were warmly welcomed by customers, who expressed gratitude for the support provided by the ZKL Group during a difficult period. Argentina faced significant challenges, not only due to droughts that affected agricultural activities but also because of the obstacles Argentine importers encountered in securing goods from abroad.
During this visit, we had the opportunity to speak directly with customers in the province of Santa Fe, the heart of Argentine agriculture and the country’s main economic sector. It was evident that operations in the region are gradually recovering. Expected rains over the past month, along with new policies easing imports and regulating foreign payments, offer positive prospects for 2025. These changes indicate a potential increase in production and competitiveness.
Similar expectations extend to other industrial sectors, such as mining, including lithium and copper extraction. While the growth of activity across industries remains moderate, it is anticipated to improve gradually. A general recovery of approximately 5% is expected in the coming year.
