News Innovation of axle bearings for freight wagons
In September, ZKL Group completed the certification of the upgraded axle roller bearing set for freight wagons WJ/WJP 130x240.
The bearings have been certified in accordance with the 2016/797 Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) in accordance with the requirements dictated by the Commission's TSI WAG Regulation (EU) No. 321/2013, as amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No 1236/2013, No 2015/924, No 2019/77 and No 2020/387 in accordance with harmonised standard EN 12080:2017.
The technical solution of these bearings uses its own patented approach and considers also future increases of the speed of cargo transports. Bearings operate reliably under normal loads for freight wagons with a design speed of up to 160 km/h and increase the reliability of wagon chassis bearings when operating at normal speeds.
